寫眞館GELATINは1992年の創設以来、モノクロフィルムが捉える豊かな階調と、そこから生まれる独自の質感を探求し続けています。

暗室でのプリントにおいては、刷毛やスプレーを用いた独自の「アノマリー現像」や、予測不能な化学反応から生まれる「ケミカルインプロビゼーション」といった実験的なプロセスを導入しています。

これにより、一枚として同じものはない、多様な表情を湛えた作品群が生まれます。手作業による緻密なコントロールと、偶然がもたらすアナログならではの深みと質感を、どうぞお楽しみください。

私は既成概念に捉われることなく、写真表現の新たな可能性を切り拓き、観る者の心に深く何かを残すような、唯一無二の世界を創造することを目指しています。

사진관 젤라틴은 1992년에 활동을 시작해, 흑백 필름이 포착하는 풍부한 계조와 그로부터 나오는 독특한 질감을 탐구해 오고 있습니다.

암실 프린트 작업을 붓이나 스프레이를 활용한 독자적인 '아노말리 현상(Anomaly Developing)'과 예측 불가능한 화학 반응에서 탄생하는 '케미컬 임프로비제이션(Chemical Improvisation)' 등 실험적인 방법을 도입하여 작업하고 있습니다.

이로 인해 단 하나도 같은 것이 없는, 다양한 표정을 담은 작품들이 탄생합니다. 섬세한 수작업으로 이루어지는 정교한 제어와 우연이 선사하는 아날로그만의 깊이와 질감을 부디 만끽해 주시길 바랍니다.

  Since its establishment in 1992, GELATIN Photo Gallery, an artist name, has been continuously exploring the rich tonal range and unique textures that can only be captured on black and white film.

   In the darkroom, I employ experimental processes such as the unique "Anomaly Development" using brushes and sprays, and "Chemical Improvisation" born from unpredictable chemical reactions.

   This results in a collection of works where each piece has a distinct expression. Please enjoy the profound depth and texture unique to analog photography, born from meticulous manual control and the beauty of chance.

   I aim to break free from conventional notions, pioneer new possibilities in photographic expression, and create a one-of-a-kind world that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer's heart.
